This is a great, easy, and fun way to practice learning the Amendments of the Constitution.
This document has the first ten Amendments of the Constitution (the Bill of Rights--I have another listing with ALL Amendments) in boxes which can be used as flashcards or a matching game. (Each page contains only five Amendments. That way, you can keep it simple and just work with five at any given time.) It also includes a quick reference list at the end in case you do the matching game.
To use as flashcards, just fold the paper in half and cut out the rows.
To use as a matching game, cut out every single box.
When I do these with my students, I first have them work with the flashcards. When they are pretty familiar with the Amendments, I'll have them cut the boxes in half and move on to the matching game. It's usually at least one day of flashcards before moving on to another day of the matching game. Also, I'll have students work individually with each and then move on to working in pairs or small groups.
