Before I show my kids a powerpoint presentation, I like to have them read text and do some deciphering on their own. In this product, students will look at the actual text of the Bill of Rights and try to make some sense out of those old words using their own words. I like to have students work in pairs for this. After they have had the chance to find their own meaning, I will show them a powerpoint that has distilled the main ideas of each of the first ten amendments.
This product includes:
- a page with the actual text (I put this in here for convenience, maybe for a class set)
- a front and back page for note taking (this has a space for their own words, the powerpoint notes, and an illustration)
- an 11 slide powerpoint
I hope you find this product helpful. Thanks!
