Bing review is very much like bingo. Students will use the chart included as a bing board. Students will write down 16 terms; people; events; etc. that you would like to review, call out each term and have students randomly write one term per square on their “game board”. When all terms have been called and boxes filled, the teacher will call out a corresponding definition for a term and students will mark the correct answer on their “board”. When a student gets four-in-a-row, in any direction on his/her “board”, he/she shouts “BING”!
Have the winning student call back his/her marked answers to validate the win. You may want to play more than once so that all terms can be covered.
For a large review game (final, midterm) bing can be expanded to a 5x5 with 25 squares as opposed to 16. This board is also included.
Once students get the hang of the game and how the board works they can make their own boards, however, it saves a lot of time to have a printout.
