Bingo is one of my favorite vocabulary review games. Here's how I use these sheets in my own classroom:
Distribute a bingo card to each student and have them fill in their own cards with words from their vocabulary lists. This will ensure that each card is unique and many students also take advantage of this time to review any words they’re not sure about before the game begins.
Then have the students put away their books and notes when the game begins. Read the definitions to the words randomly and have students mark off the correct vocabulary word from their sheets when they hear its definition.
I usually give extra credit participation points to the winning student. But most of my students appreciate candy just as much, if not more.
* Your bingo cards can be recycled if you laminate them and have the students write on them with erasable markers. Keep a supply of laminated cards and markers on hand for impromptu review games!
