Biochemsitry (Macromolecule) Unit Study Guide

This 6 page whopper of a study guide gave the students all they needed to prepare for their test. I should point out 2 teaching strategies that helped:

1. Depending on class duration and frequency, I would give out the study guide at the beginning of the Unit and have kids fill it in as we go (usually at the end of a class period)
2. Because of the amount of content, I would actually do this as a group test and I wouldn't tell them! Students would complete the test on their own, but then I would announce that they had to compare answers and put their final group answer on a new answer sheet. No noise above a whisper or they lost the opportunity! It was great!
