When Charles Lindbergh flew solo nonstop across the Atlantic, he made history. In this biography and response activity, students will use the Internet to read biographical informational text, then analyze visual sources (film clips about The Spirit of St. Louis). Questions are included that encourage cross-disciplinary thinking and personalize the content for students.
This webquest / activity includes both a student assignment handout and an answer key.
*This activity -- along with activities focused on seven (7) other famous writers, artists, musicians, aviators, and athletes from the 1920s -- can be found in the "Who's Who of the 1920s: Biography Activity / Webquest Set" in my Teachers Pay Teachers Store.
