A fun, engaging, and rigorous writing project! Each year, my class has done this writing project and we invite the younger grades to our Wax Museum. Then, every year, my new class begs and asks to do the same type of project!
In this project, the students will research (using the outline) a person who has made a difference in the world. They can choose from a list or a different option (with your approval). Then, they will write a biography based on their outline. Finally, they will create a short speech summarizing their information about their person of interest for the Wax Museum!
This product includes everything you need to get started right away! I have even included some started sample research outlines and paragraphs to use with your students to model!
