In this fun activity, every student gets a celebrity and goes around to find their mate. Once they have found their mate, they are to perform a dihybrid cross with their mate's genotype, and look for their baby at the nursery (attached). There are 2 sets of celebrities with a summary table.
The purpose of this activity is to see that not all of their calculated genotypes from Punnett Squares are expressed in the baby's phenotypes.
This is a fun activity since it has lots of interaction and engagement!
