These illustrated guided notes are filled with helpful illustrations and places for students to doodle as they learn about biology! These notes can be organized into packets for students so that they have a set for each week or unit. I found in my own classroom that having “packets” of notes was the most helpful thing I could do to really help my students learn.
These note pages were designed with an interactive class discussion in mind. I recommend that teachers have their own doodle diagram page projected on the white board, and they can fill it in with their students, using some sort of projector like an ELMO projector. Students benefit a lot from seeing what the teacher would write down from the discussion.
This bundle is a growing bundle. So far, there are 34 doodle diagram sets and I will be publishing on average 1 or 2 a week this year. By December 31, 2018, all in this set will be completed. The month that I plan on finishing each unit is listed below next to the unit name. There will be over 60 sets (sets contain 1-4 student pages) in total when it is finished. Buyers will get all updates and new ones for free!
I'm also going back and updating the first sets to include Fill-in-the-Blank Student Pages, to give teachers more options to help ELL students. Also, I'm adding in Google Slides-compatible versions. When these are added, I will be raising the price to reflect the new value.
Unit 1: Introduction to Life and the Scientific Method (Google Slides Versions Added!)
(Bonus Lab Safety just added! Now includes fill-in-blank version.)
Unit 2: Biochemistry (Google Slides Versions Added!)
Unit 3: Cells and Organelles (Google Slides Versions added!)
Unit 4: Cell Transport (Google Slides Versions added!)
Unit 5: Cell Energetics (Google Slides Versions Added!)
Unit 6: Cell Division (Google Slides Versions Included!)
Unit 7: Cell’s Genetic Information Flow (Replication, Transcription, Translation, etc) (Finished by October 30, 2018)
Unit 8: Genetics (Finished by November 20)
Unit 9: Evolution (Finished by December 10)
Unit 10: Ecology (All will be complete by December 31)
For those of you interested in human body systems and other topics in biology, I may create a different set of those in the future. Stay tuned!
