Standardized testing time is upon us! Review your students with this versatile resource.
The file is in pdf format, there are multiple ways you can use these files. You can present them as a slide show to the class. You can also print them out in sets (6 – 9 pages per sheet of paper) and have the students quiz each other or the students could also sort the cards to get a feel for the end of course test then quiz each other. You could also use them as bell ringers or exit tickets.
The 215 questions come from the released Texas STAAR Biology test available on the TEA website.
Although these questions are from the Texas state test they are excellent questions to review any end of course test especially since most state assessments share the same publishing houses.
Each card has a number in the bottom right hand corner Ex: 14.13
The first number represents the question number and the last number is the year of the test. So for 14.13 it is question 14 on the 2013 Biology test. I included the answer keys for each test so you can quickly locate the answer if needed.
I also included a one page list of questions for the 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 Biology tests side by side so you can see the composition of the Biology test.
These cards have quite a few different ways it can be implemented into your classroom I hope you find a method that will work best for your class. Please come back to leave feedback for your TpT credit and remember to follow me for free monthly gifts.
