Biology roots themed bingo game! This bingo set includes 30 game cards each of which has a unique word arrangement. There is a free space in the middle of each board. Calling cards are included with root written first and then meaning in parenthesis.
Fun game to learn about and review roots for many biology terms. I use this as a semester opener for my students. I will call out the root and have students guess the meaning. It works great as an icebreaker! Also great for vocabulary building and helps students on state and AP exams when they encounter unfamiliar terms. Perfect for eighth, ninth, tenth, and eleventh grades. Just print and enjoy!
Thirty-two roots make up these bingo boards including: aero, anti, aqua, auto, bi, bio, carne, chloro, cyto, derm, ecto, endo, epi, hemo, herba, homo, hydro, hyper, hypo, itis, lateral, logy, lys, macro, meso, micro, mono, morph, multi, photo, and poly.
Make the game last longer by playing until an "X" or "T" are formed on the bingo card!
