This chart is one that I use as a guided note sheet or graphic organizer for my students to complete during class (while I provide notes or for research), for homework, as a review, or as a part of a culminating activity. For the latter, I would begin by assigning a biome to each of my students. They would have to complete research using the chart or via another means (I usually have them create a foldable of sorts with the information.) Then, I would assign students into groups where one "expert" on each biome would be present and would share information. Another option would be to have students group together by biome to review what they researched and develop a presentation for the other students which can be presented in mixed groups or to the class as a whole.
