Product Description
Scavenger hunt activities are great ways for students to practice their academic vocabulary and concepts. The best part is that they are self-checking! Students that make a mistake will quickly realize that there is a problem when they return to the original card far sooner than they should. This also encourages error analysis and the very important skill of double checking answers!

Scavenger Quests require VERY LITTLE prep. Simply print off an answer sheet for each student and one set of the cards (on paper or cardstock for more durability). Cut the cards out and laminate if you wish so they last longer. Hang them up around the room and in the hallway if you like – kids get a kick out of escaping the classroom.

Students can start at any card. Read and answer the question, writing the answer in the first box on the answer sheet. Then search the room for the card containing that answer in the small corner circle. This is your next card. Read the new question, answer it, and write the answer in the next box on the answer sheet making sure to follow the arrows. The answer for the last card in the series will take you back to the card where you started. If you return to the first card before then, a mistake was made somewhere along the way.
