This is a reading and questions packet for a Life Sciences or Environmental Sciences course. The questions range in Bloom's taxonomy from basic understanding to higher level analysis and evaluation. The reading itself was adapted by me personally from a number of sources and from my own knowledge. Though it was for a 7th grade Life Sciences course, many (rather, most) of the students were reading at a 5th grade level or below. On the Fountas & Pinnell reading scale, this would probably be around a level R/S for readability and approximately a level U/V for context.
