This activity gets students up and moving and can be used to review the characteristics of both land and marine biomes.
Students start at a biome station around the room (signs included in packet) and use their student activity sheet (also included) to document their journeys between biomes.
At each station, students either pick 1 message out of 3, or can roll dice to determine which message of the 3 to pick (i.e. #s 1 or 4 on the dice = message #1).
Students write down the message on their activity sheets, then determine which biome to go to based on that information and what they've learned about each biome so far. I let my on-level and special needs students use their notes if they need to. Students then travel to that specific biome and continue the process from there.
