Description

Everyone loves vacations, that’s because they happen in your favorite biome. Help your students review, grasp and reinforce their understanding of biomes with this rich 30 page resource. Begin with a bell ringer on “My favorite vacation.” Draw your students out as they talk about their favorite beaches, mountains and continents. As a teacher you will find visually appealing, fully editable presentations and lesson notes. Meet your IEP accommodations quickly by providing incomplete notes for all your students. This lesson also covers aquatic biomes, which account for 75% of the biomes in the world. After students learn and discuss, they can apply their understanding through biome coloring, scribble notes, or go online and complete our Google Interactive on biomes. At the completion of day 1, students can select a biome and create a short in-depth presentation. An editable student template is included for the project. Don’t worry if a student is anabsent class, all lesson materials can be shared via a simple link. A video lesson link is also included. If you are interested in more lessons in the series, follow these links.
