Grade 1 Biomimicry Breakout and Design Challenge is an NGSS Aligned sequence of a minimum of x3 45 minute lessons that exposes students to the concept of biomimicry through a collaborative game know as a Breakout.  After students solve the clues to unlock the codes, they find a Design Challenge in the box. Students then engage in a hands-on challenge to make a webbed glove that reinforces (or teaches) the Engineering Design Cycle (NGSS). This is a highly engaging, thoroughly planned group of sessions that covers a complex topic in a way that makes the learning unforgettable for the youngest of learners.
