This is a fun way to teach about birds in your classroom. Bring in a bird covered in a box for children to guess what it is. Then have them decide on a sentence that matches the picture individually or in groups. The next slide is a duplicate that gives the correct sentence or idea. You can use many ESL strategies to make it a fun practice, game, or assessment. You can also print to make flashcards.
Concepts and pictures included are:
feathers, wings, eyes, beaks, flying, eat worms or fish, have webbed feet or claws, live in trees, hatch from eggs
