Ideas for use:
Give students a set of vocabulary or spelling words they must use.
Assign a character trait and have students make a character demonstrate that trait.
After students finish comic strips, have them re-write the dialogue in paragraph form with appropriate punctuation (quotations marks, commas). Example: "I wonder where I can find some seeds," thought the little brown bird.
Choose a theme (moral of the story, life lesson) and have students create a comic strip modeling that theme.
Just for fun:
Inside recess, early finishers, etc.
