Birthday Book- Writing About Presents We Would Give Our Friends~
I have used these pages for many years in my classroom. What I have the kids to is think of anything that they would give their friends for their birthday. They draw a picture of it above and then write 3 sentences about it below. This gift could be anything (as if money was not a factor). My children love it. After all of the pages are done, I put the cover page on construction paper and make it into a book for the child. One year I did this, I had a student draw every child "the sun, the moon and the stars." She gave that to every child in the class....so cute!
