Who hasn't seen those cute *Pinterest-Inspired* class birthday charts and thought, "I should do that"? It is a simple idea, but when you start thinking about the logistics, you end up writing names and birthdays on a pre-made graph and moving on to the next task. Right?
This is super simple, though!
1. Print out the set of numbers.
2. Figure out who has a January birthday.
3. Get those kids in one area.
4. Hand them their day. (If 2 kids share a birthday, stick them together.)
5. Take picture.
Then you just have to print them out and glue them onto a background of your choice! The kids LOVE looking at the chart all year long. In my class, when we begin a new month, we look at the chart to see who has a birthday. I teach Kindergarten, so this helps us make connections and build relationships early. (Ex: We may look different, but we both have a birthday in August!)
You can use the numbers for many other things, as well!
