This unit is a middle school history unit on what African Americans had to endure from 1915 through 1945.

***WARNING*** This is an honest depiction of African American Struggles between the years of 1915 and 1945. It includes topics such as lynchings, rape accusations, riots ans such. It is not just a collection pictures of George Washing Carver and Jackie Robinson. It is meant to enlighten all students of the troubles our country went through as it struggles to find itself through equality.

As you can see from the thumbnails, there are sections in the powerpoints where students can add information to maps and timelines. These maps and timelines are also available on this site.
