Use these flipbooks for a famous African American for Black History Month.
In my class, we are reading picture books with a partner about a famous African American. Then they are completing their flipbook by themselves. Later they will present what they learned to the class.
Makes a great February Bulletin Board!
In the flipbook, students will:
-Describe the reason we celebrate the person
-Describe 2 character traits and cite the evidence from the text
-List 3 important events in the person's life
-Describe the obstacles the person had to overcome
-Describe what you admire most about the person
