If your students enjoy being creative while they research and learn, this bundle is for you. There are many different areas of interest from the Underground Railroad to the Harlem Renaissance and to a variety of African Americans representing every field. This bundle offers a saving of over 20% if buying all packs separately.
Below is a summary of each pack in this bundle. Because this is a combination of products, a few names will appear in more than one pack. These names are indicated in the preview. For a complete list of people and event covered, please see the PREVIEW.

Pack 1- Black History Month Interactive Notebook Pages
Famous African Americans coloring pages and name cards to create an interactive notebook. I have designed each pattern in a pop-art style. There are 40 sheets included, enough for the entire month of February or for any time. I have carefully chosen a variety of writers, musicians, scientists, sport figures, doctors, activists and political figures. Some are well known, whereas others are less famous. This will give students fresh content to learn, while getting a review of other favorites.
I have also included a list of 10 Internet resources where students can go to access the needed information. There may also be print sources available in your school library.
Pack 2 Coloring Page Format for the Pages in Pack 2
Pack 3 The Harlem Renaissance Coloring Set
This unique, urban art inspired coloring set and research pack will be a great compliment to any lesson on the Harlem Renaissance. Twenty famous figures are represented.
Pack 4 Famous People of the Underground Railroad
This coloring and research pack, designed with quilt squares in mind, will be a great compliment to any lesson on the Underground Railroad. Twenty famous figures are represented with a research template designed to give students an overview of the each person and their contribution to the UR.
The research sheets can be used as a stand alone activity, a bulletin board display and as a tool for research. They can also be resized to print and insert easily into an interactive notebook by adjusting your printer settings.
I have included websites to help guide students in their research. I have assessed and vetted appropriate websites and listed them as ad free or ad supported. This will be a good way to show use of technology in the classroom. There may also be materials available in your school library if you prefer print sources.
This pack will work very well with upper elementary and middle school students.
