I'm so excited to present this new Black History resource for 2018! Perfect for all your learners as it's very open-ended, students will research a Black History Hero and write about what they're known for. There are 33 cards included; therefore, there's enough for all your students to do one hero or each student can do all of them to make their own book. When finished, the book looks awesome! It would be perfect for a unique classroom book, as well. To make, just cut out, stack, and attach at the bottom with a metal brad. Easy as 1, 2, 3!
Included are the following UNIQUE Black History Greats:
•Benjamin O. Davis Jr.
•Booker T. Washington
•George Washington Carver
•Robert R. Taylor
There are Black History greats from the areas of sports, literature, performers, government, inventors and more! Your students are bound to learn about someone new and come from this activity with new knowledge they can be proud of!
I've also included assembly directions and a few color cards so you can make an example Black History Fan to use as you demonstrate to your students how to make it.
Please see the preview for a closer look!
