Have fun with this Black History Month Memory Game! This game contains 48 cards to help your students learn about important African-American events, people, and terms.
Included are a hard and easy set of 24 pairs of cards that cover important African-American people, events, and terms so your students can learn about Black History Month in a fun way. A set of directions and suggestions for alternative game play is included.
The easy version of the game has the answers on the cards to make it easy for beginner students to play and match facts with photos. The hard version of the game does not have the answer on the facts card and so makes prior knowledge of African American history useful.
Students will pick a card with an image and have to choose the corresponding card that describes the image. For example, students will see a picture of Rosa Parks and match it with a description of how she started the bus boycott.
The game is set up in an answer key format so if you would like to have an answer key to reference, print an extra copy of the game.
