This product will give you the best of both worlds for the month of February! Black History Month No Prep Printables does just that; included are 30 printables that incorporate math, literacy, writing AND Black History! That's one printable per day, which makes these perfect for homework, daily work, or small group work.

Here's how the printables are set up~ At the top of each printable, you'll see a section labeled with a Black History Month label. Inside that section is a fun fact for the day, such as, "African American Lonnie G. Johnson created the famous Super Soaker Squirt Gun!" The rest of the printable is focused around that fact and math, literacy or writing. That printable for example, has the students adding 3 numbers on images of squirt guns. How fun is that!

So students will be learning fun facts about Black History and practicing important skills geared towards this time of the year. The printables are written with Kindergarten Common Core Standards in mind, but Firsties that need extra practice could benefit from them also.

These are the skills your students will work on:

Skip Counting

Least/Greater Than

Color & Number Words

Making Twenty Frames

Word Families

Nonsense/Real Words

ABC's~ Upper and Lowercase Identification

Beginning, Middle, Ending Sounds

Long and Short Vowel Sounds

Please take a look at the preview to see each printable included!

I also have this in a First Grade version if you're interested in that also. You can find that here.
