February is Black History Month and often teachers are looking for simple, informative ways to introduce their students to Black Americans and their contributions to our history.
We have designed a product for primary age students to learn about 9 people from a variety of backgrounds.
Each worksheet contains a short paragraph and is followed by a comprehension "fill in the blank” check.
These worksheets are designed to be used individually or could be fastened together into a small book for each student. Your students could use a blank sheet of paper and have fun designing a cover. This product can be used as Morning Work, a Social Studies lesson, or comprehension practice during reading.

In addition, we have included directions and a simple form for your students to do their own research about a Black American of their choice.
You will be excited to hear your students sharing facts about several Black Americans and pleased to see that they are taking something away from your Black History Month teachings.
As always, we look forward to your feedback and welcome new followers.
