Product Description
This is a 14-page slideshow to assist in teaching students about African American folk music during slavery, as well as spirituals. The powerpoint contains information about the background of singing during slavery and three songs to learn to sing. The songs in the powerpoint are "Swing Low, Sweet Chariot," and "Wade in the Water." I also make reference to "Follow the Drinking Gourd," but the notation is not in the powerpoint.
