This 20-question web quest is a great engaging activity for Black History Month or any time of the school year. This product allows you the option of providing students with a paper copy or digital Google Doc copy of the web quest.
This Black History Web Quest uses three websites. None contain ads or pop-ups. Make sure your school server will allow access to these sites prior to using this web quest with your students. The sites are:
This web quest has 20 questions total based on the websites, plus one short answer reflection question. The first ten questions are about Frederick Douglass, the next five questions are about important events during the Civil Rights Movement, and the last five questions are about the Buffalo Solders. In cases when students have to read information, in particular on the Frederick Douglass and Buffalo Soldier websites, all answers can be found in order in the passage.
This resource contains a 1) paper version of the web quest, 2) answer key in the paper version format, and 3) a digital version of the web quest in Google Doc format.
