Product Description
Writing assessment activity for after reading the novel, "Black and White" by Paul Volponi. Students are provided with five writing options in which to demonstrate their knowledge of the text. Students are asked to include the following in their writing: 1st person point of view, grammar, examples or references to the text, friendly letter format, and creativity. I have included authentic student examples of three of the five writing options. A great way for students to demonstrate their knowledge, creativity, and a chance to continue the story of Marcus and Eddie. My students loved this activity! An excellent way to finish out the novel study of "Black and White".
