Here is a blank game board for you to customize for autumn classroom games.
Suggestions: write 12 math problems, prefixes, suffixes, sight words, or foreign language vocabulary in the game board squares and a duplicate in the 12 center circles. Have students reinforce their learning with this variation of Bump game.
Players take turns rolling a die or spinning a spinner (included) moving forward that many spaces. The player will read aloud from the square space and find its match or corresponding circle found in the center of the game board on which the teacher wrote. The player puts a game piece on the matching circle to claim it. If the circle already has another player’s piece on it, it may be bumped off the board and replaced with the current player's piece. If players land on a corner, they can choose any circle to cover. The winner is the player with the most game pieces on the apple.
* UPDATE * With Apple BUMP as inspiration, I have created a separate product containing an entire year of holiday/seasonal themed BUMP game boards for you to customize and use from fall through to summer. The complete set is available here. It comes in an editable and non-editable format: https://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/Blank-Bump-Game-Boards-One-Year-of-Themed-Games-For-Small-Groups-and-Centers-1704130 .
