This Four in a Row game board is blank and allows you to print it out and write in your own words for decoding, nonsense words, vocabulary, math facts, etc. I suggest using a different color marker for each of the numbers (ie. use red for all the 1s, blue for all the 2s, etc.)
Students play Four in a Row by rolling a dice and choosing one of the boxes with that number. The student reads or solves whatever is in the box. The other student checks for accuracy. If the first student is correct, he or she gets to put a marker down of their color. Play alternates until a student gets four in a row across, down, or diagonally.
