These tables can be used so many ways!
1. These can be used as a whole group introduction where students paste the input output tables in their math journals. These are easy to cut and paste and leave plenty of space to write.
2. These can be used as a guided practice. Students can write the inputs and outputs in the tables and rotate them. Student work is shown on each page and it gives students an opportunity to see other's work.
3.These can be used independently as well. Students can solve problems on the board or around the room. The tables can be used as an answer sheet.
4.These can also be used as an extension. I have the students who finish first create their own tables. They then present their table and the class tries to find out the rule.
