PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Students LOVE to make their own task card sets! Allow them to challenge each other and themselves while studying for tests and quizzes!

Natural differentiation occurs as students work to their abilities developing questions and answers for themselves and peers.

This set includes 40 task cards waiting for ideas. The first 40 cards are numbered, the last page of cards is not numbered. The unnumbered cards can be used for additional cards, to replace lost cards, and as templates for “rough drafts”.

Ideas for Use:

*Allow students to develop sets of task cards for use on their own, or to put back into a “Classroom Set”.

*Exit tickets, in-class assignments, homework, extra credit work, group work, test review, remediation with individual students or small groups, pair up students for extra practice, use along with games (students must correctly answer the task card to earn a turn in the game), matching, concentration, Scoot, etc. Task cards are great for individualization and differentiated learning.

*Math – story problems, math facts, equations, properties, whatever you are learning about in math.

*Reading questions – novel studies, non-fiction articles, characterization, drawings in which students must portray important events, chapter break-downs, vocabulary, drawing/writing about story elements (rising action, climax)

*Writing – Students can develop questions/pictures/prompts to be used for whole classes or journaling.

*Science/Social Studies/History/Other classes - questions about the chapters, key words, pictures to represent big ideas/important sections, matching terms and definitions, picture definitions, etc.

*The list of ideas is endless. The students will provide the best ideas.

**Please note that these cards are not editable by computer. They are meant to be written on with ink, markers, colored pencils, crayons, etc.**
