This behavior chart is blank so you can put the colored paper you want for each section. Typically, I leave the question on white card stock, then I use blue, green, yellow, orange, and red cardstock for the following papers. I link the backs of them together with tape and laminate. Students start their paper clips on Great Job every day. (I put paper clips with their classroom number on it (1-18) along the side.) If their behavior is poor, they move their clip down the row. If they are showing excellent behavior, they move up to Out of This Word. I then stamp (or write) their agenda/planner at the end of the day with the color they earned. If they stayed on Great Job, they get their school coin. If they go up to Out of This Word, they get a good note home, their coin, and an extra reward. Keep Trying gets a poor note home. Rethink Your Choices means a note home and some type of classroom punishment. You Can Do Better means disciplinary action. At the end of the day, the students are responsible for resetting their clips. If a student gets Out of This World 7 times throughout the school year, their name goes up on a poster in the Hall of Fame!
