Do your students still struggle to read CCVC words fluently? These Blends & Digraph Sound and Word Fluency Cards are a fun and effective way to have students practice their letter sounds by blending the sounds together and reading words more fluently. These cards allow students to use their phonics knowledge to build words systematically and explicitly.
Students will begin by making the consonant sounds or the digraph sound on the card. Then, they will practice the vowel sounds. The students will continue blending these sounds together to read both real and nonsense words.
These cards are aligned with Science of Reading and Orton-Gillingham instructional techniques.
