Blends Word Work
Young learners need opportunities to practice newly learned skills....This activity is perfect for students to practice reading blends at the word level and eventually the sentence level. I use these (along with my other word work levels) in small group daily. This is a huge time saver on planning and prepping lessons. This includes beginning and ending blends.
►Differentiation of word level or sentence level. Students can find and underline and/or practice reading.
►These can easily be used in a variety of ways and for different activities. Students can practice reading on their own, with the teacher taking turns, or used with a game board.
►I store these in my teacher toolbox because they are used almost daily. I have students at different levels and some need frequent reviews and these are easily available.
