This activity is where students would look for words in books that they are reading that have blend patterns. It is to get them familiar with recognizing parts of words and should help them when they decode unfamiliar words. When they find a word with the same blend, they would write it down under the appropriate column. When they are done, they will highlight the blends and read the words they found back to you. This can be done as a literacy center or it can be a differentiated activity for students who finish work early.
