PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Use blogging to teach your students to develop their ideas and to extend and/or refute the ideas of others. This document gives you suggestions for how you can use your class website as a place for students to engage in meaningful dialogue about the texts they read.

Note: this product does not teach you how to set up a blog or website; instead it offers suggestions for an activity you can use on an existing blog.

I have several lessons that are designed for in-class use, but they include many of the ideas, articles and videos I use for my own student blog. If you're interested in setting one up, you might want to check them out!

If you'd like to embrace more technology in your classroom, check out my Real Life Research Project that leads students toward developing a fair terms of use for cell phones in your classroom.
