Description

This forensic toxicology lab, Who Was Drunk?, has students determine the blood alcohol content (BAC) of 4 different teenagers who were involved in a car wreck. Students use dice to create the characteristics needed (body size, sex, drink type, number of drinks) to complete their calculations. Then, students will calculate the BAC of each teenager, the effects the BAC has on their bodies, and read about additional information that may contribute to the teenager's BAC levels. The lab has 3 sections and 4 data tables for students to organize their data before writing a police report about the wreck and fatalities.

I LOVE to teach this topic right before winter formal. Or prom. Or GRADUATION! The more reminders of consequences of behavior...the better!

This product includes:

-3 part lab with teacher guide

-Digital access for posting to Google Classroom

*You will need to provide dice, cards, randomization apps, etc. You could simply cut up the characteristics from the student guide and place them into a hat for students to draw from!
