This full page table provides students with the opportunity to reinforce what action the body takes in the blood to address physiological imbalances, chronic issues, acute issues, death of a cell, pathogenic invasions, and injury to a blood vessel to name/categorize a few occurrences that need to be addressed. Students identify the cell or hormone activated to address the problem presented in the occurrence column. Then the students write what action the cell takes in response. Students are presented with a total of fourteen physiological issues they need to troubleshoot. I typed out a word bank and a function bank for each respective column. I also provided a color-coated answer key. This activity is designed for a unit on blood and/or the circulatory system in a human anatomy and physiology course.
