Blood On The River – As your students read the book and create the lapbook they will experience the adventure, the danger, and the difficulty of starting a town in the New World. They will journal as they learn to plant crops, hunt and fish, build a fortified town, and interact with the local Indians.
A Lapbook is a hands-on method for students to visually learn about the subject material being taught. A Lapbook highlights the study. The Lapbook can be held in the student’s lap, so…that’s how we got the name Lapbook!
