Have your students help create a figurative language bulletin board for spring!
I give my students a lesson in literary terms/elements (attached sheets/ slides of examples).
I then have the students color in the flower center (created and included). Each flower pedal can be a student created example of each literary term (these templates are included). You can copy these on colored paper or let the students decorate them. I then take a strip of paper for the students to use as the "stem" and write the definition of the term (included in this packet). The leaves can be colored and attached with students names who created them!
I label the bulletin board 'Spring' into better Writers, or Figurative Language in Bloom.
