These are engaging book reports that students complete after they've read a fiction book, then design and color to create a fun poster! This set includes 8 different book reports, each including 6 assignments – one for each level of Bloom’s Taxonomy (Remember, Understand, Apply, Analyze, Evaluate, and Design (Create). Ready Reports are great for reading stations and as assignments for individuals, small groups, and the whole class!
Each section of the report has an icon that shows and names the level of Bloom’s Taxonomy. Two posters explaining the leveled assignments (one in color, one in black and white) are also included. The assignments are designed to help deepen students’ understanding of text as students move through each level. The reports are structured so that students dig deeper into various text elements and not simply retell what happened from beginning to end. These book report may be used over and over throughout the school year with any fiction book!
