Using Blooms Taxonomy Framework, this resource will enable you to use it as a tool for higher order thinking and build upon the work that you have taught them about the subject. It is not a generic framework, the activities have been specifically designed for seasons. It contains a total of 36 activities, 6 per skill.
Staring with basic skills such as knowledge and understanding, students then will be challenged to apply facts that they learn about seasons and apply it in creative ways. For example, a Create task asks students to create a summer recipe. They will need to compile their knowledge of summer fruits and vegetables to make a refreshing dish.
It is great to be used as an independent task or a homework extension for students that need an extra challenge. The framework allows you to date when they have completed a task so you can keep track of their progress.
In the classroom, I like students to complete 3 activities from one column before advancing to the next skill set.
Please note that I am from Australia so there may be some spelling differences.
