Bloom's Taxonomy Posters. Critical Thinking. Help students gear up for higher order thinking using Bloom’s Taxonomy. These Bloom’s Taxonomy posters, desk tent, and bookmark can be used as visual tools during class discussions and/or small group lessons to foster deeper thinking.
Each of the six printable posters has a list of related verbs for each level of Bloom’s Taxonomy: remember, understand, apply, analyze, evaluate, and create. To help students understand the different levels of thinking, there are six stars on each poster. The number of stars shaded in represents the increased strength of thinking required at each level of Bloom's Taxonomy.
Bloom's Taxonomy posters come in two sizes: full page and quarter page. The quarter page mini posters could be put on a ring and used during small group instruction, discussions, and/or independent tasks. There is a colored version and a black and white version of the posters. The quarter page mini posters have two versions for printing in black and white. The mini posters could be printed on colored paper with each level being on a different color.
The desk tent and bookmark could be used as visual tools for students to reference the related verbs of Bloom's Taxonomy and the level of thinking they are using. Brief “I can…” statements are found on these visual tools. There is a colored version and a black and white version of both the desk tent and bookmark.
