Perfect for guided reading & cooperative learning. Are you looking for a way to ensure that students are responding to high-level questions and completing high-level activities? This set of 12 "flower wheels" (each with 6 levels...) will guarantee that your students are moving through each level of Bloom's Taxonomy! This product is best used in grades 4-6 but can be used with high-level students in grade 3.

Each "Boomin' Flower Wheel" is based on a different skill. Each of the 6 petals represents a level of Bloom's Taxonomy (knowledge, comprehension, application, analysis, evaluation, creation/synthesis). Students will start at the "knowledge petal" and work their way around the flower to complete each level of Bloom's. The skills included are:
-Inferring
-Making connections
-Character Analysis (TWO flowers based on character analysis)
-Setting
-Plot
-Sequencing events
-Determining Importance
-Visualization
-Sequencing Events
-Theme
-Vocabulary

This product includes a blackline AND color set (12 flowers in each set). Each "flower wheel" is FILLED with content!

Options for use:
1.) Use during guided reading
2.) Reading Centers: independently, partner work, group work
3.) Whole Class
4.) In an interactive notebook (best with blackline copies): glue into notebooks.
5.) Use with literature circle/ book club groups
6.) Use during mini-lessons based on reading skills

Suggestions:
1.) With blackline: students can color in each petal of the flower as they complete each level of Bloom's
2.) With color or blackline: students can use a clothespin or paperclip to track their place.
