This adorable SMART NOTEBOOK lesson helps prepare elementary music students for new Solfege tone "High Do" while reinforcing their knowledge of rhythm pattern "Ta-a." Activities in this lesson include a bluebird icon beat tapping chart, a bluebird rhythm icon tapping chart, a bluebird rhythmic notation/dictation tapping chart, a melodic reading exercise in which students are visually introduced to the new "mystery" tone using bluebird icons on a 3 line/2 space staff (students are asked to take note of where the new "mystery" tone is placed on the staff in relation to the other known pitches), a melodic reading exercise of the entire song on a traditional 5 line/4 space staff with bluebird icons as note-heads in which the "mystery" note is kept hidden behind and interactive shape feature, and SO MUCH MORE!! High Do is eventually presented/revealed at the end of the lesson. Adorable and colorful graphics enhance and grab your young musicians attention from the very beginning of this lesson!!
