This is a career-long blues guitar curriculum suitable for guitarists of all levels and ages! This curriculum includes PowerPoint presentations, printable versions, worksheets, exit tickets, strumming studies and chord chart posters, all containing learning content from easy to advanced.

The key of C, D, E, F, G, A, B and Bb are all included for all 12 and 8 bar blues activities. This includes Major, Minor keys, including Major keys with all dominant 7 chords. Minor keys include Dominant 7 Chords for 5 chords (V).

Chord Names or Roman Numeral options are included for all activities. Chord charts are also provided at the top of each 12 and 8 bar blues activity.

Guitar Chord Chart Posters are also included. These posters include all Major, Minor, and Dominant 7, Major 7 and Minor 7 Chords. (C, Db, D, E, Eb, F, Gb, G, A, Ab, B & Bb)

All 30 strum pattern exercise includes 3 PowerPoints which include quiet, medium, and loud volume options, depending on whether your students have a difficult time playing too loud or too soft, these are provided for visual reminders. The "medium" volume option is perfect for when you believe your students are strumming at the appropriate volume.

Printable options for all 30 exercises are also provided for student handouts. These are wonderful for students to have up close with them, as some students could have a hard time seeing. They're also perfect for students who just also like to have it in their hands.

Your choice of three guitar chords are always listed at the top of each exercise. If practicing a strum pattern for a longer duration occurs, it is great to have students switch to a new chord to keep up with pacing.

Worksheets and exit tickets are provided for class activities and mini assessment purposes. These are also great for substitutes, or assessing to see where students are after coming back from an absence.
